IL PLEUT! JE NE L'AIME PAS!

Day 18- (le 17 juillet) Hi, I'll take a rain, thunder, lightning combo please!

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I didn't update until today!
So Wednesday July 17, there was rain, thunder and lightning. The good thing about these storms is it brings in some cooler temperatures very briefly and the storms only happen for about 10 minutes. The bad thing about these storms is that they bring intense humidity right after. But other than that, there really isn't much to complain about (besides having nothing to do)

So Wednesday was the day of the final exam for the first semester, it went pretty well and I did pretty good as a result! *YAY*

After the final exam we were free to leave, I rested a bit before lunch, had lunch and then the afternoon activity was going high roping, which I could not do, so a friend and I decided to go to super store to buy some food!

After we came back from superstore, we had dinner and then we were off to play a detective game called murder mystery. Basically all the leaders of the explore program created a murder mystery/ crime scene in a building and sent us all in as "detectives" to figure out who killed the person who died. In the building there are clues and also suspects/potential witnesses and we needed to talk to them to figure out who was the murderer. It was a pretty fun game but kind of scary.

After that we relaxed in our rooms until curfew, since our rec rooms are being occupied by the football players all the time.

For lunch, we had chicken stir fry, yes those blocks that look like tofu are actually pieces of chicken. I also had acadian chicken soup, an attempted Greek salad, chocolate milk and a cookie!
for lunch
At Superstore I found this oriental udon that was microwavable, I thought I would give it a try.
NEVER AGAIN
After adding some vegetables, this is what it looked like, I will never eat this again.

Day 19 -(le 18 juillet) "money to blow, time to pass"

So on Thursday like any other day, I went to class and then went to a workshop on Acadian history, it was pretty interesting. But during the break that day, we learned that there was a sale at American Eagle! So like every other teenage girl, after the workshop, we went to the mall, I bought a pair of shorts and a pair of dress pants :) Then since we were hungry we decided to stop by McDonald's for dinner.
I ordered a McLobster (yes they exist), but then they told us they ran out, I was very sad, but then the manager said that if we waited 20 minutes we can have McLobsters so that is exactly what we did.

Some pictures for you to enjoy:
this is what one of my classrooms look like (this classroom has no ac)
I'll try to get a picture of the classroom that we use that has ac in it, its much nicer than this one.

I was bored, so I took a picture while waiting at the bus stop.

THEY HAVE AIR CONDITIONED BUSES WITH WI-FI!

West Coast, McLobster
What is in a McLobster you might ask? Well, there is lettuce, celery, lemon juice, green onion, light mayo and lobster!

basically it is a tuna salad sandwich with lobster instead of tuna
I'm pretty sure they forgot to put green onion on mine :(

For desert I ate half of a half of a watermelon (1/4 of a baby watermelon)

Day 20 (le 19 juillet) -Close call

ITS FRIDAY! I went to class and then I went to lunch, after lunch we decided to walk back to the dorm and drop off some stuff before heading over to the Acadian history workshop. As we stepped outside we realized it was raining and that we had to walk about 5 minutes to get to our dorms.... When we got to the dorm, there were a few football players in the entrance, one decided to point out that it was raining and almost clocked me in the face with his Gatorade bottle. But thanks to my fast reflexes, I dodged the bottle just in time to not get smacked in the head. After that, I was walking in the front foyer in my flip flops and almost slipped and almost fell if not for the door handle. After that spectacle, a few of the players standing in the door had to ask me a few times if I was alright. Lets just say that that afternoon I was not on the ball.

After the raining stopped and the workshop was over, I went back to my room, did laundry, took a nap and made dinner. After dinner, we decided to head out to the Mosaiq music festival happening downtown. It was pretty good there were a lot of booths showcasing different cultures, there was even korean food and bubble tea for sale!

For Lunch there was chicken in a cream sauce, acadian chicken soup, I had cherry tomatoes, chocolate milk and carrot cake. The banana I saved for later.
LUNCH!
Dinner! I had a Stouffers microwave dinner, it was veal with pasta. Pretty good! I also had chicken noodle soup, salad, cranberry raspberry juice and some cherries to top it all off :) It was good night.
At the festival I couldn't stop myself, I had some poutine!

Day 21-(le 20 juillet) Everyone likes spending 5 hours of their day in a chartered bus

Today, got on to the chartered bus at 8:00am in order to go to Prince Edward Island, we crossed the confederation bridge between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, it took 15 minutes to drive across. The view was pretty awesome. Picture yourself in the middle of the ocean, with no land to be seen anywhere, that was what it looked like!
taaa dammm

After crossing the confederation bridge, we reached the first stop, which is the gift shop.
We then went to the Acadian museum on PEI, had lunch, then drove to the national park that has the Anne of Green Gables related things. After Anne of Green Gables we had dinner on the Cavendish boardwalk and then took a 2.5 hour bus ride back to our dorms.

Please enjoy these photographs and 2 "scenic videos"  :)Notice that this province is also flat. I miss my North shore mountains!

This bed  is pretty cool, before sleeping one must tighten the ropes otherwise, the straw will move as you move when you sleep and you will fall through the bed. Hence the expression sleep tight

AWESOME T-SHIRT FOR A TODDLER, TOO BAD I DON'T HAVE ONE...
